Believe it or not...

Below are some photos from our trip here in Siberia.

The amazing one is the outside shot that was taken at 10.30 AT NIGHT. It is amazing how light it still is at this time. I have been walking around at 11.30pm and it is still light.

New Gardiner

So it is a bit blury but you can see the addition to the Gardiner's. Scheduled for mid Dec.

Pre-trip update

So we leave this Friday for Irkutsk, Siberia. Both Claire and I are very excited about returning to Irkutsk and seeing our friends over there. We will be over their for about a month, which hopefully means we will miss the worst of the NZ winter.

Claire has had a second scan and all is progressing ok with the Gardiner family expansion strategy. I am still freaked out by the whole thing and Claire is still communicating through the white telephone each morning.

I hope to put up a pic with an image from one of the scans but I am busy using that computer for another task at the moment.

If you are interested in receiving our prayer updates while we are away, please drop me an e-mail and we will add you to the list.

On the Siberia trip, we are very blessed to have an excellent team of people coming over with us from our church. The team is coming a week after we arrive over there as we are wanting to ensure everything is sorted for them before they arrive.

The team consists of Dave and Jo Bond. Jo went last year and has managed to persuade Dave he needs to come over. Nathanael Baker is also returning. As well we Jo Powell who has moved up to Wellsford recently (and got engaged too!!!) and Andrew Watson. I am very excited to see a new group, particularly the younger team members, who are getting the vision of connecting with people from other countries in the name of Jesus.

This year is particularly exciting in our church in that we are the second group to go to Irkutsk from OCC this year and there is one more group going later in the year. This is fantastic!
