Wednesday's seem to be a tough day. Last week this was the day we went back into hospital. This week Claire is very down. Katya has been pretty normal today but Claire is just not feeling able to cope.
Physically Claire is excellent. She now needs a belt to wear her old pre-pregnancy clothes. However she is struggling to feel connected to Katya. This worries her and leads to stress. And then a bit of anxiety.
Because of this I am now being quite hard on who visits. It is really important that Claire is encouraged. I'm hoping this doesn't sound offensive but it is important that only people who will lift Claire visit her at the moment.
Yesterday I managed to slice my finger installing underfloor insulation. Fortunately today it seems to be well on its way to heal.
So... we are hoping tomorrow is a better day... :)
