Apple stuff is great. But they have had the odd flop over the years. One such flop was the Newton... the first fully hand recognition PDA. It was really good but just a bit ahead of the times.
The iPhone feels a bit like the Newton. My big worry is that the reliance on the EDGE telco technology will make the use of it painful. I would not touch it until it comes out as a 3G. Not that this will be a problem as they aren't available in NZ in the foreseeable future.
