We recently purchased some Pam's black-currant concentrate. It looked the same as Barkers but it does not task the same. It has a distinct wine taste to it.
I guess it is a reminder that you get the quality you pay for. Although, that said, Signature range concentrate is pretty good.

Last time I was looking at the blackcurrant concentrate range I checked out the sugar content. From memory, Pams and Signature Range both had much higher sugar content.
